Letter Carrier Food Drive
First Christian Church | 602 North Orchard Street, Tacoma
1:00 – 5:00pm | Saturday, May 8
Come and help process food donations collected by our mail men/ladies. Food will help supply the food banks and hot meal services that Emergency Food Network supports in Pierce County. This event consistently collects hundreds of thousands of pounds of food – obviously we need your help and your muscle!
We’ll be volunteering at the First Christian Church drop-off location. Project:U will help process food donations and get it ready for shipment.
And it won’t be all heavy lifting. We’ll fire up the grill and hang out between donation deliveries. Join us! It’s a great way support your community and have some fun.
Don’t worry if you can’t come for the whole time. Drop in and lend a hand for as long as you can spare. Look for us near the giant trailers in the parking lot.
