It’s a annual scavenger hunt where teams of 4 answer trivia, take pictures, and collect items from area businesses – all in downtown Tacoma. Best thing about this event is that it’s twofold: all funds raised benefit the Tacoma City Kids Marathon and it supports local businesses! Mark you calendar for May 1st!!!

Pacific Grill has created a special tasting menu for Project:U. For $35 you’ll get several courses and there are vegetarian options – delicious. $10 from each dinner will go to United Way. Make a reservation by calling Pacific Grill 253-722-1490 and mentioning Project:U!

Come lend a hand at a great local charity!
This year My Sister’s Pantry is celebrating 10 YEARS of nurturing members of our Tacoma community with a motto of serve and be served as they carryout their mission of assisting the poor to prevent homelessness.
Although they are the 4th largest food bank in Tacoma, My Sister’s is still a small operation that depends upon volunteers. We will be helping them carryout their mission of providing hot meals, and preparing grocery bags of food for families in need.
Come for the whole evening if you can, or help out for an hour or two.
